Probability and statistics span a spectrum from highly theoretical to deeply applied. In this talk, I will present two distinct research projects from my group. First, we establish a rigorous proof of the sample-path large deviation principle for 2D stochastic vortex dynamics, providing the mathematical foundation for the microcanonical variational principle proposed by Lars Onsager. Second, we introduce a novel statistical inference method for noninvasive preimplantation genetic testing of monogenic diseases, significantly improving accuracy to meet clinical application requirements.
报告人简介:
葛颢现任北京国际数学研究中心和北大生物医学前沿创新中心双聘教授。他曾获国家自然科学基金委杰青、优青项目,入选教育部青年长江学者。他的研究方向为随机过程与生物物理化学的交叉学科;利用随机过程和非平衡态的数学物理理论,提出生物化学系统的随机热力学和随机动力学的新理论,并且利用数学模型在单细胞和单分子的层面揭示若干重要实验现象背后的分子机制;同时,在学科交叉的过程中,提出新颖的数学问题,促进理论自身的发展。迄今已经出版英文专著1本,中文教材1本,在PRL, Cell, JCP等国际著名期刊发表论文60余篇。
