报告题目：A decomposition theorem for Kronecker theta function

报告摘要：The Kronecker theta function is a quotient of the Jacobi theta functions

which plays an importnat role in elliptic functions and number theory. In

this talk, I will introduce a decomposition theorem for the Kronecker theta

function, and several applications of this decomposition theorem are also

discussed.


报告人简介：刘治国，华东师范大学教授, 博士生导师，主要研究方向是椭圆函数论、基本超几何级数和数论。曾率先提出q-偏微分方程的概念并将q-偏微分方程应用到q-级数的研究中，对天才数学家Ramanujan遗留的诸多问题有深入广泛的研究并取得令人瞩目的研究成果。曾被英国皇家学会破格授予“王宽诚皇家学会研究奖学金”，美国科学院院士George Andrews教授盛赞他“发展了令人称奇的数学方法”，在Advances in Mathematics, Transactions of AMS, IMRN等国际重要数学刊物上发表研究论文60多篇。
