摘要：In the Spectral theory of Schrodinger operators, the Thouless formula relates the integrated density of states with the Lyapunov exponent of the associated Schrodinger cocycle. We will discuss an extension of this formula to a large class of analytic families of SL(2,R) and GL(2,R) cocycles, as well as some of its implications. The dynamical formula relates the cocycle's fibered rotation number with the Lyapunov exponent. This is a joint work with Ao Cai, Jamerson Bezerra, Catalina Freijo and Silvius Klein.
