报告摘要:As fast development of computer hardware and numerical algorithms, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) plays a more and more important role in the aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering and so on. In the past 25 years, the group at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore has made a great effort in the research on CFD. A number of numerical methods have been developed and successfully applied to simulate various flow and fluid-structure interaction problems. Some recent advances of this development will be reported in this talk. In the talk, wewill present our recent progresses in the development and applications of boundary condition-enforced immersed boundary method; phase-field multiphase flow models, lattice Boltzmann flux solver (LBFS) and gas kinetic flux solver (GKFS) for simulation of flow field. Some recent progresses on data-driven flow simulations will also be briefly discussed.

报告人简介:Dr C. Shu is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore. He received his BEng and MEng degrees from the Department of Aerodynamics, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), China, and PhD degree from the Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK.
