Abstract :Action-angle theorem is an essential result describing the behaviour of an integrable system around a compact leaf. Although it is in general stated in symplectic geometry, it is still valid in Poisson geometry. We shall state local and semi-local versions of it, and roughly indicate paths to the global case. In the process, I shall try to give a brief by concise introduction to (non-commutative) integrable systems in Poisson geometry - and to start with, an introduction to Poisson geometry. The results presented here come from various joint works with Rachel Caseiro, Rui Fernandes, Eva Miranda and Pol Vanhaecke.
