Title: Variational Wave Systems

 Abstract:     Quasi-linear systems of partial differential equations include Einstein's systems of equations of general relativity, systems of conservation laws, and variational wave equations of liquid crystals. Solutions to these systems of equations may be singular, and usually their blow-ups depend on the physical parameters. I will briefly mention recent results in this area, and give a no-blow-up condition. Also, I construct  a global energy conservative weak solution after blow-up. These are joint works with Professor Yuxi Zheng. 
报告摘要:拟线性方程如爱恩斯坦方程、液晶模型里的变分波方程,由于其非线性性质,一般都有Ricatti型爆破。我们发现这些爆破依赖于其中的物理常数,并给出了一类非爆破判别条件。另外在爆破发生后,我们还构造了全局能量守恒弱解。这是和郑玉玺教授的合作成果。
