胡岗教授,1982年获比利时布鲁塞尔自由大学博士学位,1986年起任北京师范大学教授。工作领域:统计物理,非线性动力学,网络拓扑及动力学。多年来在国际刊物上发表100多篇论文,其中包括Phys. Rev. Lett.上共10数篇论文,及近期在《美国科学院院报》(PNAS)上的论文。
Abstract:
Today in natural and social systems, huge amounts of data have been accumulated after quick development of science and technology. It is however common for many systems, in particular for biological and social systems, that the data available for utilization is huge while the structures producing these data are unknown. Therefore, extracting the structures of systems from the data produced by these structures, i.e., the reverse problems turn to be one of the central issues in interdisciplinary fields. In this talk we propose a novel method to generally solve the reverse problems of dynamic complex networks perturbed by noise. The talk includes physical ideas and mathematical methods to derive some compact formulas in the reverse computations; numerical verifications of these theoretical formulas; and perspectives on possible practical applications of the proposed method.
