摘要: It is a long standing open problem that the Eulerian polynomial of type D has only real zeros. This conjecture was proposed by Brenti in 1994, and was proved by Savage and Visontai in 2013. A companion conjecture to Brenti‘s conjecture was proposed by Dilks, Petersen, and Stembridge in 2009, which states that the affine Eulerian polynomial of type D also has only real zeros. In this talk, we shall review some progress on these two conjectures. This is a joint work with Philip Zhang.
