Keynote Lecture 1: Empirical process theory for statistics
报告人 Speaker:Prof.Jon A. Wellner, Department of Statistics, University of Washington at Seattle
报告时间 Time:2015年6月25日(周四)上午9:00-10:00
报告地点 Place: 苏州大学本部维格堂119
报告简介 Abstract:This talk will cover some of the basics of empirical process theory and the application of the theory to problems in statistics. The focus will be on some of the basic convergence theory and methods together with inequalities for dealing with minimum contrast and maximum likelihood estimators in nonparametric and semiparametric models.
