报告提要:In topology, iterated loop space plays fundamental roles in homotopy theory. In algebra, Hochschild cochain complex has important applications in deformation quantization and noncommutative geometry. In 1993, after comparing their homologies, Pierre Deligne conjectured the similarity between these two disparate objects of study. In this talk, I will explain the background of this conjecture.
