摘要:   Maximin distance designs are commonly used for computer experiments, but the construction of such designs is challenging.  We introduce a series of new methods for constructing maximin distance designs via level permutation and good lattice point designs. Theoretical results and numerical examples are presented to show that our methods outperform existing ones.

报告人简介：Hongquan Xu is a Professor and Graduate Vice Chair in University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of American Statistical Association, lifetime member of Institute of Mathematical Statistics and International Chinese Statistical Association. His research works have been published in many top statistical journals, including Annals of Statistics, Journal of the American Statistical Association and Biometrika.
