Frequency hopping sequences (FHSs) are employed to mitigatethe interferences caused by the hits of frequencies in frequency hopping spreadspectrum systems. In this talk, we will give a brief introduction to FHSs andconsider the constructions of FHSs with optimal partial Hamming correlation. Inparticular, we will present some combinatorial constructions for FHSs by usingcyclotomic classes, Trace functions, cyclic difference matrices and discretelogarithm.
